day 5 - Composting
Zero Waste Week 2022
Beaten Path Compost and the Food Waste Reduction Pilot Program
The City of Gainesville in partnership with Beaten Path Compost, USDA, Working Food and Grow-Hub have enrolled 200 homes in their Food Waste Reduction Pilot Program. Today we are sharing two videos about this great partnership. The first showcases the vision and passion that Beaten Path Compost brings to their operation. The second offers testimonials of residents who have participated in the Food Waste Reduction Pilot Program.
Interested in the City expanding composting options? Send City Commissioners a letter showing your support for the Zero Waste Ordinance which includes city-wide composting. See Day 2 of Zero Waste Week for a template letter!
